She’s the Australian actress and environmental activist who started her career on Home and Away.
And on Thursday, Isabel Lucas, revealed her surprising new role living in the sleepy town of Byron Bay.
‘I’m a beekeeper in Byron, it’s my way to support healthy bee populations and natural pollination,’ she told The Daily Telegraph.
‘I prioritise and practise conscious healthy living,’ the 35-year-old Transformers star continued.
The actress started her career on Home and Away in 2003 before being cast in a slew of Hollywood hits such as Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Daybreakers.
Reflecting on her success in the competitive industry during an interview with Stellar in September, Isabel revealed the best piece of career advice she’s received.
‘It’s not all about making money, it’s about growth and being an artist.
‘Sometimes you need to take some time out and replenish,’ she continued.
The actress explained that knowing she has the power to say ‘no’ is something she’s put into practice over the years.
Isabel’s most recent role was in the Australian comedy drama Chasing Comets, alongside Dan Ewing, George Houvardas and Stan Walker.
She relocated from Los Angeles to the coastal enclave of Byron Bay in 2016.
She regularly travels back and forth between Australia and the U.S. for work.
