ISABEL Lucas is showing off her musical and dancing talents in Gale Edwards’ latest movie A Heartbeat Away, which also stars Sebastian Gregory.
Lucas will perform a couple of jazz numbers on screen. Her character Mandy has aspirations of becoming a professional dancer. Producer Chris Fitchett said Lucas did not need more training for the scenes.
‘‘We have a choreographer for the film, but she didn’t need much help. She knew what she was doing, ’’ Fitchett said of the Transformers 2 starlet, who will soon be seen opposite Tom Cruise’s son Connor in Red Dawn and in the Tom Hanks/ Steven Spielberg-produced television mini-series, The Pacific.
