SHE might be in Melbourne shooting low-budget film Kin, but that hasn’t stopped Hollywood’s bigwigs taking notice of actor Isabel Lucas.
The former Home and Away star is the frontrunner for US director Sofia Coppola’s new film, Somewhere. Lucas, 24, has been living in Los Angeles since 2006 in a bid to forge a movie career in Hollywood.
Industry insiders said Lucas met the Lost in Translation director last week and is keen to take a role in her coming movie, which is creating quite a buzz in Hollywood circles.
