WHAT a gem. Cairns-grown starlet Isabel Lucas might be wary of lending her face to brands but when she does, she’s a marketer’s dream. Lucas, who strikes an stunning figure as the ambassador for Linney’s jewellery, says she is very picky when it comes to endorsements of products.
‘‘I have been offered things but tend to turn them down if they don’t resonate with things I believe in, ’’ she says. ‘‘Like leather – I’m vegetarian so it’s not in line with my beliefs so I’m not going to promote something like that.’’
The 28-year-old has signed up to promote Linney’s 2014 Cote d’Azur jewellery col- lection, which was launched at an invitation-only event in Sydney this week. The former St Monica’s College student will appear alongside Oscar- winners Christian Bale and Natalie Portman in the upcoming drama Knight of Cups and the thriller Careful What You Wish For.
