Lucas, who is starring in the new Queensland film In Like Flynn, remained tight-lipped about the identity of her new partner, but said she was in a “committed” relationship with a man who was not in the movie industry. “I do keep my private life separate from the buzz and illusions (of Hollywood), ” said the former Home and Away star. She also revealed she had recently bumped into her former beau, megastar Chris Hemsworth, in Byron Bay, where she bought a home in 2016. “It’s so lovely to see him doing so well. I’m so happy for his success, ” she said of Hemsworth, who was her boyfriend for three years after they met on Home and Away. y Lucas was also previously dating m musician Angus Stone. Lucas, who is also still pa partly based in Los Angeles after moving there in 2008, said she was excited In Like Flynn, (which also stars Thomas Cocquerel as Tasmanian-born actor Errol F Flynn) had brought her back to Australia. “I felt the call to come ho home and to be based in A Australia more, ” she said. “It felt really right.”
